It’s common knowledge that appliances continue to draw a small amount of power when they’re switched off but still plugged in.

This post on the Mint Life is actually really great, but doesn’t mention anything about Vampire Power reduction to save money. Low Flow toilets are a great idea, and you can see how much energy you’re wasting through power monitors, but how do you eliminate that power? Reuters announced that iGo’s upcoming products, the Power Smart Tower with iGo Green technology, Power Smart Wall with iGo Green Technology, and Laptop Charger with iGo Green technology, will be available in 900 OfficeMax stores once they come to market later this month (pre-orders are available now from our Tips & Tricks page).

Many other currently available iGo products are being sold at OfficeMax now, such as the iGo Netbook Wall Charger and the iGo Charge Anywhere.
